Tick season

Precautions
Tick season is approaching, so make sure your furry friends are safe. Perform daily tick checks around their head, neck, paws and underarms.

Preventatives
Use veterinarian approved preventatives like chews, topicals and collars. Keep grass mowed as those pesky critters love shade and tall grass. 

Removal
If you happen to find a tick don't fret, simply use fine tipped tweezers to grab the tick as close to the skin possible and pull straight out. Be careful and avoid crushing the tick. Clean the area with soap and water.
